Hope you're having a great Memorial Day Weekend...we surely did!
Liz and I spent the weekend housesitting for friends down in East Aurora, New York, where Liz teaches. The house we stayed at was incredible, and was like our own version of a bed and breakfast. Barb and Doug came out yesterday for an early dinner, and a trip back to the 50's in the Authentic 50's Diner that this family has built in their basement, with period items and a working setup. (The only non-period piece is the 72-inch flat panel TV that hypnotizes you when you watch it!)
I took a bunch of pictures, and uploaded them below, realizing too late that I forgot to take one of the front of the house. Oh well, the inside is incredible, and more than makes up for that little mistake.
I hope all of you are having a great long weekend! We're still in school for 3 more weeks, and then we close on our house...so lots of updates coming soon!
