Visiting Friends...

Kelly Burgess came up from Kannapolis with her sister for a baby shower this weekend and she came over to visit! Her parents, Scott and Pat came over too and Lily performed for them the whole time they were here! Kelly worked with us at Kannapolis Middle School, where she is currently Assistant Principal! I'll be in Kannapolis at the end of June for a conference...hopefully seeing many more old friends!

A Day In The Park...

Now that it's getting warmer, we've been outside a lot more. We walked up to our local playground today and put Miss Lily in a swing for the first time. She LOVED it! She cried when we left because she didn't want to leave, but then 5 minutes out of the park on our way home, she was asleep!

We Met Grace!

We went to visit Steve and Paula in Cleveland so that we could see baby Grace. She's beautiful and just a little peanut! Lily looked like a giant beside her! The pictures are in a slideshow that links to our Picasa photo area. If you click on the slideshow anywhere, it will take to the photo page and you can download all the pictures into Picasa on your computer in one batch, without having to do individual downloads!

Ready For Spring!

It's still a little cool...but we pulled the bikes out of storage. We went to Dick's Sporting Goods and bought an attachment for the bambino and then gave it a test drive! Lily LOVED it! We're looking forward to later in the week when it's warmer!

Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark

Mary Higgins Clark and her daughter, Carol Higgins Clark came to Amherst today to sign autographs of their new books. Liz and Barb, with Doug, went to meet them and get autographs! Mary Higgins Clark even autographed her new children's book for Lily!

The Band Played On...

We played our Boulevard Mall gig for the third year in a row on Friday night with our faculty band--led by Karen Ragusa!

Back view of the saxophone section...with yours truly in first chair!

At first glance, Lily's father-in-law Brian seems to be practicing a new ballet move. In actuality, he was trying to get the microphone away from the Superintendent's secretary Ruth, so that he could have it all to himself.

Jack and Lily seem unimpressed with each other's company. Too bad, since their marriage is already arranged.
