Lily started saying "Two-Word" phrases this week:
1. "Quack, NO!" - Translation: "Mr. Duck, this slice of bread belongs to me and you shall not partake of its deliciousness." (She then shoves most of the slice of bread into her mouth to prevent the duck from getting it. This was in response to trying to give the ducks in our front yard a treat that she wanted for herself.)
2. "Help me!" - Translation: "I'm going to go and "hide" in the tent in my bedroom and I would like for one of the two adults in this house to come and find me, enter the tent, and tickle my feet or neck."
Additionally, Lily is beginning to speak in foreign languages:
1. Somewhere, we don't know where, Lily was introduced to German linguistics and instead of just saying "NO," she now is yelling out "NINE." We know that she is not yelling out the number Nine, because she can only count to five.
2. Thanks to Dora the Explorer, Lily responded with "Abajo?" to Liz's request to put the pillows "Down."
