A Day in the Life of Lily

12:00 AM Makes gurgling noises, is discovered to have thrown up all over herself.

12:10 AM Mom and Dad consider calling 911 because breathing is labored and baby is crying hysterically.

12:22 AM After a dose of Gripe Water and Infant Gas Drops, baby throws up very interesting bubble of an unknown substance.

12:23 AM Baby calms immediately and falls back asleep.

1:37 AM Baby up again to play/eat. Has bottle and goes back down.

7:25 AM Baby awake and cooing. Has diaper changed.

7:26 AM Baby laughs on the changing table and says "D-12". We don't know if she knows anything about Bingo, or whether she really likes Eminem's band, but either way, "D-12" came out, crystal clear.

7:28 AM Baby comes to bed with Mom and Dad who are not ready to get up yet.

10:00 AM After rolling around in the living room in only a diaper, baby screams bloody murder at the thought of having to wear clothes. Oh, the humanity.

Later in the day...

1:30 PM Baby, in Target, screams at random people, but is curiously silent when Mom and Dad put snow hats on her and giggle.

1:34 PM Baby tries to eat a DVD. Slobbery DVD placed back on shelf and area vacated quickly.

3:30 PM While rolling on floor, baby discovers garbage can, tips it over, and begins eating a plastic baggy. (This was after she tasted the tissue and decided the plastic was the better snack. See Picture) For those that think child abuse is involved here because I took a picture before I took the baggy need to realize that Lily is virtually a goat and can eat anything. Anyway, I cleaned it up before she could eat the entire contents of the garbage can. She did however manage to eat a couple of tissues, the plastic bag, and most of a Tim Horton's cup (without the lid), as well as Milky Way wrapper and the "Borat" DVD. (Though I'm sure her grandmother Barbara would have liked for her to eat the "Gimme A Break" Season One DVD's as she does not care to watch them when Dad gets home from the hospital later this week.)


4:35 PM Baby is hysterical laughing while Dad tries to talk to Karen Ragusa.

5:22 PM Baby eats a little, throws a little food, laughs a lot at Mom trying to feed her, and takes food out of her mouth and wipes it into her hair.

7:00 PM Baby has much needed bath to remove Sweet Potatoes and Bananas from her hair, ears, inside her fingers and toes, and curiously from within her belly button. (Which was covered by two layers of fabric at dinner time.)

8:42 PM Baby finally goes to bed after last bottle and Mom and Dad are close behind her.
