Charlie lost her first tooth today...right in the front! The second picture is her note to the tooth fairy asking her not to take her tooth. She wants to keep it!

Digitally dyeing Easter Eggs with DoInk's Green Screen app. We painted an egg with green paint and then took a bunch of pictures. We imported the pictures into the app to layer classical paintings on top of them. Happy Easter everyone!

Lily has been learning about Harriet Tubman at school and we decided to take a day trip to her Homestead in Auburn, NY--about an hour and a half away from Buffalo. We spent the day learning more about Harriet Tubman's life and lots of new things that we didn't know.  In this episode, you get to see the entire presentation from the Harriet Tubman museum.

Gingerbread House Smackdown!

We had the best time tonight at a Christmas Party/Gingerbread House Contest. Liz's Aunt's side of the family all got together (and I'll tag them on Facebook when this posts!) for food and fun. Even though there was trepidation about making the Gingerbread House, we went with Lily's design of a Cayuga Indian inspired Longhouse since she's been learning about the Cayuga in school. She won the "Little Builders" award and was thrilled! Charlie and Lily both ran around for four hours, eating, playing games, and having a great time! We had an absolute ball!
