Disney Princesses on Ice

Well, we survived!

Actually the show was not too bad. It was way more than I thought it would be--very theatrical, great costumes and a few special effects. The girls had a blast. They both clapped through the whole thing and recognized all of the songs and characters. Lily was ready to go home about halfway through, but once Cinderella came on, she was okay.

After we left the arena, we went out for a Princess luncheon of french fries and wheat toast. (yes, really.) Liz and I are both exhausted, but we would do this again with the girls...it was very easy in/easy out! Pictures and video below:

Princess Weekend Begins!

We are having Siobhan over this weekend because we are going to see Princesses on Ice tomorrow at HSBC Arena. We bought our tickets through Disney for $23 each--StubHub had the row behind us going for close $250 each. I thought we should sell our tickets on eBay and just go to the movies, but all the females in my immediate area put the Kibosh on that fairly quickly. So tonight, we are going to have a Princess Dinner out at a Chinese Restaurant on Grand Island when we go to pick up Siobhan, then coming back here for Princess play time. Each of them is getting a "Princess Pack" (in the pics) to play with this weekend. (Side note: Dollar General rocks!) Also...the other pics are of Lily's new Princess Bedroom. Now that she's in the big girl bed, we changed the theme of her room since she's all about Princesses now. More pics tomorrow after we get back from Hell--I mean Princesses on Ice.
