8th Grade...

I found a picture of myself when I was in the 8th grade. Look how thick my hair was! And look at that chin! Could it be possible that I was bigger then than I am now? I'm 22 pounds away from what I weighed when I graduated from High School--but I had lost weight those last couple of years of High School, before that, I'm pretty sure I was pushing 250...260. Whew!

Dance at School...

We went to the 8th Grade Dance at school tonight. The kids are done next Wednesday, and the Student Council throws a dance for the outgoing 8th graders. We took the baby so that the kids could see her, and our friend and coworker Dave was there with his baby, Madilynn, who's three months older than Lily.

Party for Liz

The folks at Starpoint threw a going away party for Liz and Tony Panella-our Assistant Principal who's become Principal at another school. His wife had a baby last night, so he wasn't able to come. We had a good time--we ate a restaurant called the Hideaway. (Good food AND drinks!)

Lily At The Baby Gym

We signed Lily up for a Baby Gym program tonight. They meet once a week and sing songs and play for 45 minutes. Lily had a great time, but had no interest in organized playtime. She explored the whole area and ran from here to there. She especially enjoyed the little slide. We start our 9 week program on June 27th where they will teach her a few directions and how to play in some of the different areas. (We can't wait to see that!) The other kids that were there that were her age all sat down in a circle and participated in the songs and the games. (While Lily ran in circles around them!) Please excuse the quality of the pics...we only had our cell phones with us!

Guess who likes the water this year? Last year, Lily was in the pool for a total of about 20 seconds all season. This year...we had trouble getting her OUT!
