First Day of School!

Both girls started school today--Charlotte in PreK and Lily in 4th! Charlotte was so excited to start school! Liz and I are going to take a nap!

Charlie helps teachers start school!

Our superintendent of schools asked several kids to help with the teachers' opening day today. Charlie was a big ham and even stood with the high school kids while the superintendent talked to the group.

Obligatory Duck Pics at Canalside!

Everyone else was doing it so we did too! Went down to Canalside this morning to see the six story tall duck. Also finally saw the Shark Girl!

Balloon Rally in Wellsville!

We went to the Wellsville Balloon Rally last night and met up with our Buffalo Neighbors, Bob and Jean. It was a little too windy to launch the balloons so we rode over to Bob and Jean's house in the southern tier. Almost as soon as we got there, we could see the balloons going up in the distance. The pictures don't do it justice, but if you click on them, they'll open up bigger so you can see some of the balloons. It was still thrilling to see them in the distance. We'll try again next year! Darwin Martin House Summer Camp

Lily had an absolute blast at the Darwin Martin house Summer Camp this past week! She studied different types of architecture and even built her own house using what she learned. The camp counselor showed the kids lots of craft opportunities and that's right up Lily's alley! Next up...Invention Camp!

Last day of Third Grade!

Today is Lily's last day of Third Grade! This year went super fast! She's starting to turn into a young woman right before our eyes and we couldn't be prouder of her! This year she has grown so much as a reader and writer, gotten interested in Tae Kwon Do, and is still the Queen of Crafting. Next up, BOTH Lily and Charlie will be in school in the fall. Charlie already has her bookbag packed!
